1.1 Places on our tandem skydiving courses are limited. Payment of your booking deposit reserves your place. If no places are available for your first choice of date, we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient alternative date.
1.2 We will refund a booking deposit, less our reasonable administration costs (see paragraph 1.3), if it is certified by a doctor that there is no possibility that you will be medically fit to skydive, other than by reason of pregnancy. If you are unable to skydive because you are pregnant, you may postpone your booking date until such time that you become fit again to skydive.
1.3 Our administration costs are 50% of the booking deposit.
1.4 We will confirm your booking by letter or e-mail, and give you a provisional time to arrive at the airfield (see paragraph 2.2 below)
1.5 Registration at the airfield on the day of your jump will automatically give you insurance cover for Personal Liability (3rd party insurance). If you require Personal Accident insurance cover, you will need to arrange this yourself beforehand. Further details can be provided by contacting this office.
1.6 Skydiving and parachute flight sorties are completely dependant upon the weather and are regulated by the British Parachute Association (BPA) and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It may be necessary to postpone a flight or tandem skydive if in our judgement, the conditions are not safe. We will give you as much warning of any postponement as operational procedures allow, but in order to ensure your safety we reserve the right to postpone a flight or tandem skydive at any time before or after your arrival at the airfield on any booked date.
1.7 We do not accept liability for any costs or expenses you incur if we have to postpone your tandem skydive, where the reason for postponement is beyond our control.
2.1 Deposits must be paid at the time of booking, and are non-refundable (but see paragraph 1.2 above)
2.2 You must telephone our office at the advised time to check that the tandem skydive has not been affected by adverse weather conditions, and to finalise your time of arrival at the airfield.
2.3 The balance of the total cost due, will be payable on the day of your jump
2.4 You may postpone your tandem skydive up to 14 days before your booked date provided that at the time you do so, you reschedule your jump.
2.5 If you do not give notice of postponement in accordance with paragraph 2.4 above, or do not attend in time to take part in your booked jump, you will not be entitled to rebook nor to any refund.
2.6 A maximum clothed weight of 210lb (male), 175lb (female), and a reasonable height to weight ratio is a condition of acceptance.
2.7 The minimum age is 16. If under 18, written consent from your parent or guardian will be required. We will send the neccessary form to you when we confirm your booking date.
2.8 You will be required to complete a declaration of fitness form and if you are aged 40 or over, this will need to be endorsed by your doctor. A form will be sent when we confirm your booking date. You must not jump if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
